Summer Getaway 2 – Day 4

Day four of our northern tour was one for a walk! The CAMC Meathop site is approximately 3 miles from the nearest coastal town of Grange over Sands. So, boots on and dogs in their harness and leads and an hours walk down country lanes brought us out in the Victorian seaside town. This is a very quaint location and we took advantage of lunch at a tea room with a view of Morcombe Bay – if you squint you can just see Blackpool Tower on the horizon. Shopping was pleasant in the old town with some lovely local shops and amenities. Good place to top up on essentials, wine and local farm produce. Pleasant evening sat outside Betty with the said wine! Tried out our new solar lights too.
