So after two amazing tours to Cornwall and the Lake District so the inevitable return home spit and polish to bring Betty back to her best was the plan for the weekend. Betty came home for a few days – not only for us to complete this work but get a few important jobs done too! More to come on those.
The big job this weekend was to clean the roof (we had attempted this at the storage centre but they had neither ladders or a decent hose) and give the motorhome a full wash and detailing. So we began with the products and essentials we needed.
A shopping list of: hose extension (plus a connector), an extendable ladder, a microfibre flat mop and some Fenwicks Motorhome Cleaner – all purchased and all good to go.
15M Expanding Hose from https://www.hozelock.com added to our existing garden hose. The ladders were a great buy from Wickes (these were on offer at just £95 when we visited) https://www.wernerco.com/uk and shall be great to throw in the boot with the hose extension to wash Betty at the storage next time eliminating the need for home trips each time. We have seen good reviews of the Fenwicks products online/in socials so have given the Motorhome Cleaner a go – https://fenwickscaravan.com/product/motorhome-cleaner/
A good morning of graft has got our Betty looking spick and span! Bright white again for the next trip! Any ideas or advice on remover for the flies on a white cab and front of the roof would be welcome – as these are stubborn little buggers!
