Sandringham CCC

November 2022

We visited the site in the middle of November 2022 on the weekend of the start of the annual Laminate festival in the grounds of Sandringham. This was our first visit to the CCC having stayed on the neighbouring CAMC site on many an occasion as can be found on our Caravan and Motorhome Club log on this website. Why did we choose this site this time? Our last visit to the CAMC resulted in a pitch (not their fault – our late arrival and the physical location can’t be helped) that had virtually no connectivity to the club wi-fi, 4G or 5G or aerial signal. We have learned in the past where is best for this! So, having walked the dogs a number of times past this CCC we decided to use our membership and give it go! The site, for a comparable pitch and dates was almost £20 cheaper than the CAMC – that was a bonus. Hardstanding – check – spacious pitch – check, phone and TV signals – an absolute better connectivity! So what did we think? A well managed and kept site all round. The noticeable difference isa the the more dated toilet blocks, but these are clean and looked after. The team were very welcoming and friendly too. Given that Sandringham is a regular weekend unplug for us we shall be using this one again. The Luminate festival is always a bonus at this time of year.

December 2023

This was our first Twixmas break away with a nice trip to Sandringham and the Camping and Caravanning Club Site. We have used both this and the Caravan and Motorhome Club Site which are a stones throw away from each other. We do like this break between Christmas and New Year, the walks through the woods and up to the house, its a real tonic! The site is not too far as a steady walk away from Sandringham House itself. The facilities here are great and is a well maintained site with a friendly team.

December 2024

We last stayed here in December 2023 for the same Twixmas few days and so we thought we would do the same again. On arrival this time the team allocated a super pitch for us – a cracking site team pitch that was vacant for this time of the year. We really enjoyed this stay and loved seeing all the Christmas lights that were decorating the caravans and motorhomes and whilst we took a little reindeer with us we might have to up our game for 2025 wherever we go for the Twixmas trip! We cooked a Christmas dinner in the van and decorated with some bits and pieces.
